SEAL BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a seller of natural gas fueling stations, said Thursday that it named James O’Connor to its board.
O’Connor’s appointment was effective Monday. He will serve on the board’s compensation committee and the nominating and governance committee, the Seal Beach, Calif., company said.
O’Connor, 62, has more than 30 years of experience in the waste industry. He is a former chairman and chief executive of Republic Services Inc. and has held a variety of executive positions at Waste Management Inc. He is currently a member of Canadian National Railway Co.’s board.
In afternoon trading, Clean Energy shares rose 21 cents to $ 13.64.
